Philstyle - Exactly!!! I want to hold a banner in front of pro chinese protesters; "YOU CAN'T DO THIS IN CHINA!"

An image on one of the Dahlia Lamas website depicts Chinese troops holding orange cloaks. The pixel blocks of orange pre-date the original layer background by 3 years. The original image (since corrected) showed one soldier had two right hands!
If the Chinese were to undertake such subtefuge do you not think they would have done so behind their walled garrisons rather than in an open street in full view of tourist cameras. For me this manipulation of the truth by the Dahlia Lama says it all.
Do you want to send Tibet back to a feadal system with no rights at all for women in a society where 99% of the population starved whilst the Dahai Lama and his aristocrats feasted in their palaces (1911 - 1951)?
When will people learn and realise that the Free Tibet campaign is no different to the Nazi propoganda in the 1920's -1930's except this time its the Chinese who are targets not the jews.

Sherry,

No one is advocating a return to the feudal system, one of many old world orders which evolved for better or worse. What EVERYONE is advocating (and unless you are inhuman you will agree) a dialogue with China on the state of human rights in Tibet, China, Burma, Darfur, and a dialogue with the Tibetan people on the future of Tibet. Not even the Dalai Lama is calling for immediate independence or military intervention.

Your victimisation of the Chinese panders to classic CCP propoganda and holds no weight. If you havn't watched this documentary, you aren't worthy of commenting, and if you have watched this documentary, you would know what the problem is and you wouldn't be pretending Chinese authorities come up smelling of roses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAtv9Ay8M3c

Get the men in blue - that should be the target of the protesters - as the men in blue are chinese security services. Knock one of them down and you will be achieving something.
The people of Tibet need to get tough or they'll disappear over the next few decades under the surge of chinese immigrants.
GUNS FOR TIBET is what we need. Chinese soldiers (and men in blue!) shot down for freedom.

thank goodness someone has finally handed brown a moral compass. by not attending the olympic games opening ceremony he will undo some of the damage he did to this country's reputation when he welcomed the brutal chinese governments propoganda festival into downing street.

whilst people were protesting in london on sunday, 10 more tibetans were shot and wounded back in tibet. why is this ok just because it did not happen in trafalgar square?

that black sunday will be remembered as the day blue suited chinese paramilitary thugs strutted and shoved their way through our streets with the full collusion and enthusiasm of our star struck police and government.

not good enough brown, not good enough. you are supposed to lead us, not follow.

90% of Tibets Population Starved whilst under the 40 year Dahlai Lama rule. [Visitor]

As a post graduate studying anthropology I really would recommend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFmuHzFb2tM for an impartial and accurate account of Tibet’s history, only your xenophobia will prevent you from realising its the truth.
Tibet has been part of China for thousands of years however for a 40 year period administrative control was passed to the Dalai Lama. During that period 90% of the population were not recognised as human beings. It starved.
Chinas isolation from the West has not helped. Although it has tried to open its doors in the past decade it has suffered four decades of neo-Nazi propaganda from the Dalai Lama.
I am not Chinese and yes there are serious issues with their government but after 12 years of research I can unequivocally state that Tibet is not one of those issues. Tibet is already free - free from a tyrannical rule of a mediaeval and brutal religious cult presided over by one of the most evil men in history. Do not be deceived or misled by the Dalai Lama as gullible hollywood actors have been. For the memory of the 110 innocent civilians killed last month in Lasua i urge you to stop, research and think. Free the truth.
